About the project
Mi Casa Decoraciones is a home décor company from Mendoza, Argentina, with several branches, quoting curtains, made-to-order pieces and products for every room.
Their sales process mixed Tango, spreadsheets, printed documents and handwritten notes: customer data, measurements, fabrics and finishes were transcribed several times, with all the errors and delays that implies.
We built Sistema MCD, a custom web application where salespeople find or create the customer (synced with Tango) and put together the quote room by room, with automatic calculation of fabric consumption, finishes and prices across price lists. It generates the quote, the workshop order and the installation order, and sends the order to Tango in one click.
Management tracks quotes by status, branch and salesperson, and manages price lists, users and master-data sync. The system doesn't replace Tango: it works alongside it. Frontend in React and backend in NestJS with PostgreSQL.
